I looked at your list because I team teach with a math teacher who is looking for some movie options for her class. You couldn't show most of the movies on your list in high school because they are rated R. My school district won't allow any R rated films to be shown. I have to sign a form that states I previewed any PG-13 movies and have deemed them appropriate. As a parent, I would be on the phone to the principal in a heartbeat if a teacher showed my child an R rated film even in high school.

No clarification necessary because calling out 98 & ME would also mean calling out Mac OS 8 and 9 which fall into the same category. Due to it's lack of popularity the vulnerabilities could not have been fully displayed. The post also indicates that popularity and security are inversely related, and although OS X is still a minor player OS 8 and 9 were even more minor players taking 3rd place behind OS/2 Warp.

The point isn't to say Microsoft released vulnerable software is that when something becomes popular if also becomes vulnerable. Had Apple been the big player we'd be talking about how horrible Mac OS's are and how we never had to deal with that with Windows 98! Also OS X gets specifically mentioned because the "Fanboy" culture that try to shove Macs down our throats have only been around since Jobs return to Apple and would have had no influence on OS 8 and little on OS 9.

Clarification is in order. You called out a specific Mac Operating system (OS X), yet you generalized the Windows operating system. I would say that some Windows Operating Systems are more vulnerable than others ( 98 & ME come to mind).
